Ventilation solution for clay and other low airflow springtail cultures. Poke or drill a small hole in the lid of the culture and adhere the vent over it. These vents provide just enough airflow to keep clay cultures healthy without drying them out excessively fast or allowing an entry/exit point for pests/escapees.

These vents do no allow enough airflow for species requiring decreased humidity/moisture gradients. I use these vents on all of my clay and plaster cultures.

Be careful when peeling these vents as the adhesive backing can tear from the filter fiber.
