Porcellio laevis “Dairy Cow” are an excellent isopod for beginners! Very fast breeding, tolerant of many environments, and forgiving of mistakes. They are very protein hungry though so are not recommended as cleanup crew for small or soft animals. In culture I recommend weekly feeding of a protein source such as fish food or freeze dried minnows. Dairy Cow is the iconic morph of P. laevis with a white body and black speckling.

My daughter was so eexcessive to get her order today! She said when she opened them they were all active and now they have settled into their new habitat! We will definitely be ordering different types once we have more enclosures!!!
