Armadillidium vulgare is among the common roly-poly type isopods found throughout the world. They thrive in a wide range of environments and are one of the best beginner species. A. vulgare is known to feed on sensitive plants in terrariums. Punta Cana is a locality of A. vulgare and not a standard line-bred morph. They are an extremely underrated isopod.
