Plaster Retainers ensure that the Springtail Plaster in your culture cannot shift and allows you to tilt the culture to tap springtails out without fear of your plaster falling out.

Use a drill or sharp blade to make a small hole in the bottom of your culture container and thread the screw through. Then screw the pieces together as shown in the product images. Pour in your Springtail Plaster mix to just above the Plaster Retainer, let the plaster set, and you are good to go!
